Day 2 - Instant Gratification

Everyone loves instant gratification, and I'm no exception LOL. I lost 4 pounds of water in one day, even if it is just water, it still helps motivate me to stay on track. I did cheat a little bit last night, I stayed up until midnight, and got so hungry I ate a few tortilla chips. But one of my main goals is to not eat right before bedtime, I do that too much, and I think it's a significant part of my weight problem. So, no more snacks before bed! LOL

Today I'm going to venture out into the freezing Wisconsin weather (it was 8 degrees at 8 p.m. last night) and do some grocery shopping for lower calorie foods. I think I'm going to try to do a sort of modified Atkins diet, where you eat more protein and fewer carbs. And on those nights when we have something like Hamburger helper, smaller plate and smaller portion will be my friends. That and of course, diet Coke :D

  1. I would never do that in the freezing cold!!!! It would be waay too cold! Although in Canada it is freezing people still go everywhere! And I live there! I like huddling in a blanket :( so I exercise indoors with my fireplace XD
